Guarantee Policy
The US Congress passed the Fair Credit Billing Act in 1975 to ensure your bank or credit card processor cannot hold you liable for more than $50 which were fraudulent charges made to your credit card. Malibu Shirts will though reimburse you the $50 if you can prove from the documentation from your credit card provider's corporate policy that they do not reimburse for the initial $50 which was involved with fraudulent activity related to your Malibu Shirts, Inc. purchase. Order Status
We will normally ship your order within one business day after you have placed your order. We only ship Monday through Friday (not including holidays) for orders placed on the prior business day. We subject all orders to credit verification prior to shipment. We screen orders for protential fraudulent activity. As soon as we ship your package, we will email you the tracking number. We use USPS priority mail, FedEx and USPS Parcel Select (standard) for our shipments. o To track a USPS Priority Mail package go to www.usps.gov. o To track a FedEx shipment to go www.fedex.com. o To track a USPS Select shipment (standard) go to www.shipapx.com. Note: shipments to military APO or FPO addresses cannot be tracked.
Military Addresses Malibu Shirts, Inc. does ship to U.S. Military APO and FPO addresses. These types of shipments are sent via USPS Priority mail. Please enter the state and APO or FPO address and corresponding zip code.
Sales Tax
We strictly base our sales tax charges on the state tax laws of the state where your order is shipped. If you have any questions about your sales tax, please email us at mail@malibushirts.com. We will only charge applicable state and local sales taxes for website customers from Hawaii and California based on the internet tax laws. All other website customers which reside in the other 48 states are not charged a sales tax. Malibu Shirts.com provides a “100 percent money back guarantee" policy on all purchases. Our customers can return product which they are not satisfied with up to 30 days from the shipment date or the date of purchase.
As for product which was purchased in one of our physical stores, you must return the product back to any Malibu Shirt store location for your refund or exchange. You must present the item and your receipt. In terms of online purchases, you can return product to the corporate headquarter address at Malibu Shirts, Inc. at 22518 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265 or to one of our physical stores. Our website store though cannot accept returns which originated from one of our physical stores. Malibu Shirts.com also does not refund shipping fees. Return Product which was originally ordered from our website, can be shipped prepaid back to our "website" store corporate address OR you may return the items and your receipt to any one our stores for a refund or an exchange.
We will though refund all shipping expenses if Malibu Shirts shipped the incorrect items or for product which was damaged in transit to the destination. We do require you to provide the documentation of your packing slip as your receipt for the website purchase. Your refund or credit will take approximately 14 business days and please refer to your credit card statement to ensure proper credit was given to your account. A Malibu Shirts check will be sent back for refunds involving money order purchases.
