Product History

Inter-Island Airways was incorporated in 1929 and flew amphibian planes between John Rogers Airport on Oahu and the neighboring Islands. In addition to transporting air mail, light freight and passengers, Inter-Island Airways also ran sightseeing flights over Oahu. For 12 years, Inter-Island serviced the Hawaiian Islands before changing their name to Hawaiian Airlines in 1941 and phasing out the older amphibian planes.
