Surfer's Cross
Color - Necklace 4

Time Magazine called it "the surfers' newest emblem." Ed "Big Daddy" Roth - of Rat Fink fame - coined it the "Surfer's Cross."  In the 1960's this wildly popular novelty item was worn by surfers as both a good luck charm and a sign of rebellion.

The Iron Cross was originally established by King Friedrich Wilhelm III in March 1813. On 5th August 1914 Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany and the King of Prussia, reestablished the medal. The Iron Cross was awarded without
regard for nationality or social class to combatants for acts of heroism, bravery or leadership skills.

Our molded pewter replica features the classic Surfer's Cross on the front and a surfer on the back.
